The river index
About
The river index
What this project follows
A Canadian index of fishing preparation and riverside reading: small checklists, honest observations and a clear route back to the source.
How to explore
Six field notes, a searchable reading room and a practical checklist. Reading is free and does not require an account.
Scope
This is an online editorial project, not a tackle shop, charter service, fishing guide or licensing authority. It does not promise catches or local access.
Reader correspondence
Use the contact form for a question, suggestion or correction. Identify the page and source when reporting an error. Photographs illustrate the topics and have separate credits.
